The launch of the new winter styles for 2011 was very well received last Wednesday evening. The two elegant models, accompanied by gentle guitar music, showed off a variety of beautiful dresses and jackets all named after steam engines. Styles varied from drapey velvet tea dresses to voluminous taffeta cocktail dresses and snuggly wool coats. The new styles are coming soon to the Ele Horsley website, so keep your eyes peeled.
Serendipity, a Kendal duo, performed a selection of their own compositions which went down a treat. The Body Shop were there too to give make-overs and make-up advice. And the raffle, with prizes kindly donated by Agnes Rose, Ginger Bakers, Glynis Bland Photography, The Body Shop, The Hawkshead Brewery and Ele Horsley, raised over £100 for the Pakistan Flood Appeal.

You are most warmly invited to join me on Wednesday 2nd November from 7pm to 10pm at the Hawkshead Brewery for the launch of my new winter styles for 2011.
The small collection of elegant dresses and sumptuous jackets takes its inspiration from the romantic age of steam trains. Picture plush velvet interiors, shiny brass gauges, perfectly painted engines, giant iron wheels….
The evening’s entertainment will also include live music from local band Serendipity, make-up demonstrations and make-overs by The Body Shop, and a raffle to raise money for the Pakistan Flood appeal.
Please email me to let me know if you plan to come along, just so I have an idea of numbers – ele@elehorsley.com

As Christmas nears, and the invitations to glamorous parties and winter weddings build up on your mantle piece, take a moment to think about what you will be wearing this winter. We are just weeks away from the launch of the Ele Horsley winter 2011 collection, which will bring you a selection of exquisite party dresses as well as the most terribly chic winter jackets.
Keep your eyes peeled for the announcement of the launch within the next day or two… You could be the first to see it, and the first to own a piece of the collection!
